NB Installation
Shaft installation:
1. Fit the slip ring at the correct position and lock the matched screw tightly towards the shaft. The max torque should not be more than 25 lb-in.
2. Line the lead wires and make the necessary connections. Ensure that the slip ring rotates freely and there is no encumbrance from the lead wire. The lead wire cannot be curved by oppressing it. Breaking off of lead wire can cause accidents.
3. Fit the anti-rotation tab with a screw (max dia: 5/16).
Part of flange:
1. Set the installation bores on flange and tightly lock the washer and screw.
2. Line the lead wires and make the necessary connections. Ensure that the free rotation of the slip ring can be cumbered by lead wires.
3. Fit the anti-rotation tab with a screw (max dia: 5/16).
Warning:
As there is the possibility of machanical tolerance between the products and user applications, it is not recommended to fit both ends of
the slip ring with force(for example, a tightly locked rotor or stator does not result in any clearance during rotation). Worse, it will
reduce the operating life of the slip ring.
